Benetton asked us to build a true outlet — not a hidden section, but a Shopify Plus–based project, autonomous, fast, and seamlessly integrated with the main e-commerce. An ecosystem connected to OMS, PIM, DAM, and ERP, designed to communicate across multiple systems in real time. A place where the brand’s past finds new voice, preserving consistency, value, and the visual impact of an iconic identity.

OVERVIEW

The project stemmed from Benetton’s need to diversify and give a distinct market position to an autonomous outlet universe. Built on Shopify Plus, it mirrors the brand’s UX and UI language while introducing a new way to navigate — intuitive, fast, and designed to boost conversions.

A minimal yet characterful interface enhances the experience without friction, becoming the perfect landing space for dedicated campaigns. Fully integrated within Benetton’s complex system architecture, the platform communicates seamlessly with multiple warehouses, ensuring fluid operations and a consistent brand presence across every digital touchpoint.

Design

Functionality

INTRODUCTION

Our work for Benetton’s outlet design focused on redefining perception and purpose. We built a visual language that feels familiar yet distinctly autonomous — minimal, structured, and true to Benetton’s identity.

Every element was designed to simplify navigation and highlight product value. Over 100 fully custom design boards were created, no templates, each crafted to express precision and coherence.

The result is an interface that blends function and emotion, where clarity meets character.

We designed mobile first — where Benetton’s audience converts the most. Every choice, from layout to motion, was driven by performance on small screens.

Technology

INTRODUCTION

Built on Shopify Plus, the outlet was developed on a dedicated warehouse structure designed for scalability and operational precision.

We implemented a loyalty system integrated with custom-built apps, enhancing user engagement and retention.

The platform architecture includes modular Shopify accounts, allowing flexibility in management, data flow, and future expansion within Benetton’s digital ecosystem.

We built a modular discount system synchronized with real-time stock levels. Prices adjust automatically based on availability, keeping promotions dynamic, margins protected, and the entire outlet ecosystem perfectly aligned.

Built around a powerful ecosystem of Shopify apps, the outlet delivers high performance and speed across every step of the user journey.

Each integration was designed to shorten navigation, streamline checkout, and increase conversions — transforming the platform into a fluid, sales-driven experience that amplifies both efficiency and brand value.

From launch day onward, our focused redesign and system overhaul enabled Benetton’s outlet to rise rapidly — delivering clarity, scale and measurable digital excellence.

System Integration

INTRODUCTION

We connected Benetton’s outlet ecosystem through a complex enterprise architecture — integrating Keros (OMS for order management), Akeneo (PIM for product information), Alfresco (DAM for digital assets), and SAP (ERP for logistics and finance).

Each system plays a precise role in ensuring consistency and flow: from product data to media, orders, and inventory. A seamless infrastructure designed for reliability, scalability, and unified brand experience across every platform.
