The Pantofola d’Oro project is a lesson in timeless evolution. A strategic Shopify platform designed to carry the legacy of a century-old icon into the future, harmonizing the artisanal prestige of the "Lazzarini" shoe with the speed and reach of a modern, global digital storefront.
OVERVIEW
Pantofola d’Oro required a complete digital renaissance to bridge the gap between its historic roots and contemporary fashion trends. The goal was twofold: to refresh the brand’s visual identity for a new generation and to engineer a technical infrastructure capable of expanding into the US market.
We dismantled the old to build the new, a unified ecosystem where brand storytelling, inventory logistics, and international sales merge seamlessly, driving a 42% increase in sales.

Design
Functionality
The design challenge was to balance the weight of history with the lightness of modern UX. We had to translate the tactile quality of handcrafted leather into a digital interface without making it feel nostalgic or dated.
The visual language needed to appeal to both the purist football fan and the modern lifestyle consumer, creating a "premium sport" aesthetic that feels authentic on every screen.

Our design approach was rooted in "visual tactile" storytelling. We focused on producing editorial photography that highlights texture and detail, supported by a clean, minimalist UI that lets the product shine. The layout uses ample whitespace and elegant typography to evoke a sense of quiet luxury, transforming the shopping experience into a journey through the brand’s legendary archives and its future vision.

Technology
The technological challenge was operational synchronization across borders. We needed to build a dedicated US storefront that operated independently for the customer but was centrally managed internally.
The critical hurdle was ensuring real-time dialogue between the web platform and the legacy warehouse management systems to prevent overselling and streamline international logistics.

Performance
Performance is driven by a data-centric stack designed for global reach. We utilized Semrush to dominate international SEO niches and a precision mix of Meta and Google Ads to target high-value cohorts.
Integrated marketing automation tools manage the customer lifecycle, while custom scripts optimize the funnel in real-time. This tech ecosystem allows for granular tracking of user behavior across different markets.

Our performance strategy focused on "heritage hacking", leveraging the brand's history to capture modern interest. By aligning the US launch with targeted digital campaigns and a revolutionized social media presence, we achieved a 4.8 ROAS.
The synergy between the renewed visual identity and the optimized onsite funnel turned brand equity into measurable revenue, engaging over 300k active users.

System Integration
INTRODUCTION
The backbone of the project is a custom-built integration tailored for international commerce. We developed a proprietary connector to sync the Shopify storefronts directly with Pantofola d’Oro’s internal warehouse logic.
This ensures that every pair of shoes sold in the US or Europe is instantly accounted for in the central HQ. It’s a seamless operational loop that minimizes manual management and maximizes logistic efficiency, allowing the brand to focus on craftsmanship while the system handles the complexity.
Integration isn’t our process. It’s our instinct ▫ Integration isn’t our process. It’s our instinct ▫
