Made in Evolve S.r.l. (Via Rosalba Carriera 26, 41126 San Damaso, Modena, tax code and VAT no. 03497200364; “Made in Evolve”) is committed to making its website https://madeinevolve.com, in its English and Italian versions, accessible in line with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (the European Accessibility Act) and with Legislative Decree 82/2022 transposing it into Italian law, taking Law 4/2004 as a reference and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as its technical target. This Accessibility Statement applies to the madeinevolve.com website and the content published on it.
The madeinevolve.com website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, due to the non-compliances listed in section 2. Made in Evolve regards accessibility as an ongoing process and is committed to fixing the known issues and to checking new content before publication.
The content listed below is not, at present, fully accessible.
| Content | WCAG criterion concerned | Status and alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Intense animations and transitions in some page sections | 2.2.2 Pause, Stop, Hide (A); 2.3.3 Animation from Interactions (AAA, adopted as good practice) | The website respects the “reduce motion” preference of the operating system or browser where technically possible; when enabled, non-essential animations are reduced or disabled. |
| Showreel videos without captions | 1.2.2 Captions (Prerecorded) | The videos serve as visual presentation and do not convey essential textual information; information about the services is available in the page text. Adding captions is planned. |
| Some decorative images without alternative text or with inconsistent attributes | 1.1.1 Non-text Content | The images concerned are decorative; a review of the attributes is under way to mark them correctly as such for assistive technologies. |
| Insufficient contrast in some text or interface elements overlaid on video backgrounds | 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) | Contrast varies with the video frames; overlays and styles ensuring the minimum ratio in all conditions are being introduced. |
No content is excluded from the scope of the legislation and no disproportionate burden is claimed for any content.
Users who are sensitive to animation can enable the “reduce motion” option in the accessibility settings of their operating system (macOS, iOS, Windows, Android) or browser. The website reads this preference through the prefers-reduced-motion media query and, where technically possible, limits animations, parallax effects and automatic transitions.
This Statement is based on an internal technical self-assessment carried out by Made in Evolve, which combined:
The evaluation was not carried out by a third party. The Statement is updated at least once a year and whenever the website changes substantially.
Anyone who encounters barriers in accessing the content, wishes to report a problem or needs information in an alternative format can write to hello@madeinevolve.com with the subject line “Accessibilità”, describing the page concerned and the difficulty encountered. Made in Evolve undertakes to reply within 30 days of receiving the report and, where possible, to provide the requested content in an accessible form. Reports involving the processing of personal data are handled in accordance with the privacy policy.
If the reply is not considered satisfactory, the person concerned may contact the authorities responsible for supervising the accessibility of products and services under Legislative Decree 82/2022.
Made in Evolve designs and develops eCommerce websites and digital platforms for its clients. Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act also applies to e-commerce services, which must meet the accessibility requirements set out in Legislative Decree 82/2022, subject to the statutory exemptions for microenterprises. For this reason Made in Evolve treats accessibility as a project requirement: WCAG 2.2 level AA is adopted as the reference during UX/UI design and development, with checks on semantic structure, keyboard navigation, contrast, form labels and alternative text, and with guidance to the client on producing accessible content over time. The level of compliance actually achieved by each project depends on the platform, the themes and third-party applications used and the content published by the client; Made in Evolve therefore does not guarantee absolute compliance of clients’ websites, but undertakes to document the choices made and any known limitations.
This Statement was drawn up on 18 September 2026 on the basis of the self-assessment described in section 4 and will be reviewed by 18 September 2027.
